Replacing the trimmer spool
Remove the battery from the grass trimmer
to avoid it starting accidentally.
Turn the grass trimmer upside down so you
have access to the spool housing (21).
Press the two tabs (17) on the side of the
trimmer head cover (16) and remove the
cover.
Take the empty trimmer spool (18) out of the
spool housing. Insert a new trimmer spool
with the same specifi cations as the original
inside the spool housing and pull the ends
of the trimmer line (19) through the eyes (20)
in the side of the spool housing. Replace the
cover and check that the tabs have engaged.

Cleaning and maintenance
Always remove any grass and plant residues
from the grass trimmer with a brush
immediately after use. Make sure to remove
any grass that collects around the trimmer
head, under the trimmer guard and near the
cutting blade.
Wipe the grass trimmer's telescopic shaft and
plastic parts with a damp cloth.
Ensure the ventilation slots (15) are kept free
of dust and dirt.
Store in a dry, dust-free, frost-free location.
