Freezing fresh food
The freezer compartment defrosts
automatically.
To keep the food frozen and fresh for a long
time it must be frozen below -18°C (0.4°F).
• It is suggested that you wrap or cover the food before
placing them in the refrigerator.
• Hot food must cool down to room temperature before
putting them in the refrigerator.
• The foodstuff that you want frozen must be fresh and of good quality.
• Foodstuff must be divided into portions according to the
family's daily or meal-based consumption needs.
• The foodstuff must be packaged in an airtight manner to
prevent them from drying even if they are going to be
kept for a short time.
• Materials to be used for packaging must be tear-proof and
resistant to cold, humidity, odor, oils, and acids and they
must also be airtight. Moreover, they must be closed, and
they must be made from easy-to-use materials that are
suitable for deep freeze usage.
• Frozen food must be used immediately after they are
thawed, and it should never be re-frozen.
• Please observe the following instructions to obtain the best results:
Do not freeze too large quantities of food at one time.

The quality of the food is best preserved when it is
frozen right through to the core as quickly as possible.

compartment.
Energy consumption of your unit is increased while the freezer
compartment is fully loaded on shelves without the use of the drawers
and upper shelf cover.
• If there is a power failure do not open the freezer door. In case the
failure lasts a few hours, the food must be checked and when
necessary, must be consumed immediately or must be frozen after
cooked.
• Please pay attention to the expiry date, maximum allowed storage
period and recommended storage temperature of foodstuffs when
purchased. If the expiry date is passed, do not consume.

Recommendations for preserving frozen food
• Prepacked commercially frozen food should be
stored in accordance with the frozen food
manufacturer's instructions for a
frozen food storage compartment.
