Curling tongs
• The combination of hot air and curling tongs can give
your hair a long-lasting shape.
• For this purpose, the curling tongs have a lever with
which you can hold down the hair strands.
Shaping nozzle
• Use the shaping nozzle to dry specific parts of hair well.

Unlock the accessory
• Press the "A" button and turn the accessory slightly
anticlockwise.
Electrical Connection
• Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the device.
You can find this information on the nameplate.
• Connect the device to a duly installed 230 V, 50 Hz pro-
tective contact socket.
Use
Select a function on the slide switch:
Position
0 : off
Position
1 : gentle stream of air (low heating power)
Position
2 : strong stream of air (high heating power)
COOL (Cold Air)
Use this switch to stop the heating process.
1a Press the "COOL" button for a shot of cool air.
1b Press the "COOL" button and slide the switch up at the
same time. The heating process is switched off.
Use the cool air to fix your hair in place.
2 Slide the switch back to its original position if you no
longer need the function.

Ionizing function –
Reduction of static in hair
The appliance is also fitted with an ionizer which gives off
negative ions with the air flow when switching on. This pro-
cess supports safe, gentle drying of hair and also promotes
a better hair structure, maximizes hair volume, provides for a
silky finish and also reduces static in the hair.
This process is particularly gentle on stressed hair.
Switch-off
After use, turn the lower switch to be "0" position and
remove the mains plug.
Storage
• Leave the device to cool before putting it away!
• Hang the device up by the suspension eye.
Mains Cable
• The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
• Never tie the cable tightly round the device, as over time
this may result in the cable breaking.
• Check the mains cable regularly for damage.
Cleaning and care
WARNING:
• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the
socket.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the
device in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this
might result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
Body and accessories
Clean the body and the accessories with a soft, dry cloth
without additives.
Air Intake Grill
Please clean the grill on the air intake side of the hairdryer
regularly in order to avoid excessive temperatures as a result
of heat accumulation.
• Remove any dirt that is present.
• If necessary, a fine brush can be used.
