INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
The product must be assembled by 2 adults.
Step 1:
Screw the lower vertical tube (2) with the screws (11), washers (12) and
nuts (13) on the base frame (1). (Fig. 1)
All images are examples of the design.
Step 2:
Connect the base frame (1) and the lower vertical tube (2) with the diagonal
struts (3). You should for this purpose use the screws (15) on the base
frame, the screws (14) at the upper end of the struts, as well as the washers
(12) and nuts (13). (Fig. 2)
Step 3:
Insert the supports (9 + 10) through the prefabricated loops of the weight
pocket (23) and then into the sleeves of the base frame. The three sandbags
(24) are used as to fill the weight pocket. Then assemble the textile base
cover (22) on the front part of the base frame. (Fig. 3)
Step 4:
Mount the net (19) onto the basket ring (4). (Fig. 4)
Step 5:
Connect the basket ring (4), backboard (5) and rear connecting tube (6) to
each other. You should for this purpose use the screws (16), as well as the
washers (12) and nuts (13). (Fig. 5)
Step 6:
Connect the middle and upper vertical tube (8 + 7). You should for this pur-
pose use the screws (17), as well as the washers (12) and nuts (13). (Fig. 6)
Step 7:
Plug the connecting tube from basket and backboard (6) onto the upper
vertical tube (7) and screw it tight at the desired height. The height can
be varied between 230 and 305 cm. You should for this purpose push the
connecting tube (6) to the desired height, so that the pre-drilled holes are
superimposed. You can now firmly screw the connecting tube (6) onto the
upper vertical tube (7) with the screws (18), as well as the washers (12) and
nuts (13). (Fig. 7)
Step 8:
Connect the lower with the middle vertical tube (2+8). You should for this
purpose use the screws (17) as well as the washers (12) and nuts (13).
(Fig. 8)
Step 9:
Mount the textile covers (25 + 26) onto the middle vertical tube (8) as well
as onto the base frame. (Fig. 9)
Transport:
When filled with sandbags, the stand is very heavy and weighs up to 115 kg.
You should remove the sandbags in advance, in order to be able to move
the stand. You need a helper who should raise the front end of the foot while
you concomitantly pull the rod towards you, as illustrated (Fig. 10). Once the
weight has been shifted onto the transport rollers, you can roll the basketball
stand to the desired location. Please note that frequent transport may dama-
ge the stand or the frame structure, due to the heavy weight.
