Furniture Safe with electronic lock
1. Important notes about operation / exclusion of liability
Please read carefully this manual before activating the lock. We assume no liability, neither for malfunctions
caused by faulty changing, use of force or improper handling, nor in case of property or pecuniary damages
due to inappropriate locking of the safe.

Keep the emergency key in a safe place, do not put them into the safe !
2. Start-up / emergency opening
For the first opening, remove cover B you find above the lock for emergency opening by means of a flat tool,
starting from the lower side (see fig. 1) Afterwards, please insert the supplied emergency key into the lock, turn
it with the right hand "anticlockwise" and hold it in this position to release the mechanical lock. Now, simultane-
ously turn the knob clockwise with the left hand to open the safe in case of emergency.
Please open the battery compartment (see fig. 2) on the inside of the door and insert the supplied batteries
(please observe the correct polarity). Push the cover downwards until it can be removed. Close the battery
compartment.
3. Storing the personal code
3.1 Leave the safe door open and press the red button C (see fig. 3). on the inside of the door. You will hear
a beep.
3.2 Enter your personal code (1 - 8 digits). Confirm with the #-key. Now your code is stored. Please write
down your code or use a code you do not forget.
4. Open the safe with your personal code
4.1 Enter your PIN code and press the *-key. You will hear a beep and the green LED lights up.
4.2 Turn the knob A (see fig. 1) clockwise within 5 seconds after hearing the beep.
4.3 To close the safe again, close the safe door and turn the knob A (see fig. 1) counterclockwise.
5. Battery replacement
If the batteries are low, the green and the red LED light up at the same time. Open the battery compartment
and replace the batteries.

When removing the batteries, the lock will be reset to factory settings after 1 hour. The personal
opening code has to be restored.
6. Turning off the sound signals
Switching off: Press the *-key, then enter the code 633. Switching on: Press the *-key, then enter the code 66.
