8.1.
Wall heater - Decalcifying the evaporator
Hot surfaces - Danger of burns!
The heater or the evaporator bowl (2) can be hot. Use gloves when handling the
evaporator bowl.
Evaporator - draining
1.
Place a container under the drain valve (1).
Open the drain valve (1).
2.
As soon as the evaporator is empty, close the
drain valve (1).
3.
Empty the container.
Decalcifying the evaporator
4.
Take the evaporator bowl (2) off the water tank.
5.
Fill the evaporator at the water tank (3) with
max. 2 liters of water.
6.
Put approx. two tablespoons of regular
household decalcifier (chlorine-free!) into the
water tank (3).
7.
Allow the decalcifying mixture to work overnight
(at least 12 hours) on the calcified deposits. The
decalcifying process can be easily repeated
2 - 3 times for the same length of time to ensure
that the entire calcium deposit is dissolved.
8.
Place a container under the drain outlet (1).
Open the drain valve (1).
Rinse the evaporator
9.
Close the drain valve (1).
10. Take the evaporator bowl (2) off the water tank.
11. Fill the evaporator at the water tank (3) with
water.
12. Place a container under the drain valve (1).
Open the drain valve (1).
13. After the evaporator is emptied, close the drain
valve (1).
14. Repeat the rinsing procedure two or three times.
Reset the 92 error on the control panel
15. In standby mode, keep OK button pressed for
approx. 25 seconds.
