PANEL EXPLANATION AND OPERATION CONTROL INSTRUCTIONS
Make a quick push of the button to activate the photovoltaic
heating element. The light just above will illuminate to indicate that
this system has been activated. Keep the same button pressed for
two seconds to allow the regulation of the desired temperature in
the tank by solar energy. It can be regulated between 35 ºC and
75 ºC but it is recommended to set it to the maximum. On the
panel, the temperature on the left indicated as 'SET' is the one to
be achieved and the one on the right indicated as 'ACT' is the
current one inside the tank.
Photovoltaic solar energy heating element operating pilot. If the
connection of the photovoltaic solar panels to the water heater has
been made and this energy has been activated as indicated in the
previous section, the pilot lights up if there is enough solar
irradiation to activate the resistance. The pilot light brightness
depends on the DC electrical intensity. As high is the irradiation,
the pilot brightness is also higher.
Make a quick press of the 'AC' button to activate the conventional
230V electric heating element. The light just above will illuminate
to indicate that this system has been activated. Keep the same
button pressed for two seconds to allow the regulation of the
desired temperature in the tank by 230V AC energy. It can be
regulated between 35 ºC and 75 ºC but it is recommended to set it
at 50ºC, which is the optimum between comfort and energy saving.
On the panel, the temperature on the left indicated as 'SET' is the
one to be achieved and the one on the right indicated as 'ACT' is
the current one inside the tank.
