3.2. Preparation for work
LOCATION OF THE DEVICE
Always operate the device on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and
out of the reach of children and persons with reduced mental, sensory and
intellectual abilities.
ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE
Attach the lever and the column to the base with the pin. The components must
not be either too loose or too tight.
3.3. Working with the device
1. Place the supports under the vehicle according to the support points specified by
the car manufacturer.
2. Adjustment: raise the lever and the column simultaneously until it is at the desired
height. Lower the lever to lock the pawl and the column. MAKE SURE THE PAWL IS
FULLY LOCKED AND THE COLUMN DOES NOT MOVE.
3. Carefully lower the load onto the supports.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a) Use only non-corrosive agents for cleaning the surface.
b) After each cleaning, all components should be well dried before the device s
used again.
c) Regularly inspect the device for technical failure and damage.
d) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
e) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or metal
scraper) as these may damage the surface of the device.
