TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Galvanised steel and black cataphoresis coating.
KRATOS SAFETY certifies that the FA 60 041 00 has been tested in accordance with standard EN 795:2012 Type A.
COMPATIBILITY FOR USE:
This equipment must be used as part of a fall arrest system as defined in the product data sheet (EN 363) with the goal of guaranteeing that the dynamic
force exerted on the user during arrest of a fall is no greater than 6 kN. A fall arrest harness (EN 361) is the only body gripping device that may be used. It
can be dangerous to create one's own fall arrest system in which each safety function can interfere with another safety function. Therefore, it is important
to read the recommendations on using each component in the system before use.
INSPECTION:
While the recommended service life of the equipment is unlimited (in accordance with the annual inspection by a competent person authorised by
KRATOS SAFETY), it may be reduced according to use and/or the results of the annual inspections. The equipment must be systematically checked if
in doubt or after a fall, and at least every twelve months by the manufacturer or a competent person* and in strict compliance with the manufacturer's
periodic inspection procedures (and in particular the Inspection Guides ref. GI XX-XXXXXX-XX), in order to ensure its strength and therefore the
user's safety. The equipment data sheet should be completed (in writing) after each inspection. The date of inspection and date of the next inspection
must be indicated on the data sheet. It is also recommended to put the date of the next inspection on the equipment.
*: refer to the definition of a competent person on our website under: Info/Technical Advice
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE: (These instructions must be strictly observed)
During transportation, keep the equipment away from any cutting edges and keep it in its packaging. Clean with water, wipe with a cloth and store in a
ventilated room to dry naturally, ensuring that it is away from any direct light or source of heat; the same applies for elements that may have gotten wet
during use. The system must be stored in its packaging in a cool, dry and ventilated room.
