After Taking Pictures (Storage)

Turn the camera off.

At the end of shooting, immediately fill a bucket or other
container with fresh water to wash off the salty sea water.

Wipe off the water droplets carefully from the waterproof case.
Press the ! Power button to turn the
camera off.
Make sure that the camera is turned
off.
Rinse the outside of the waterproof
case well by stirring the water by
hand.
If any salt remains on the case, it can
cause rust, local malfunctioning, and
other problems.
In particular, carefully wipe away
the droplets from the joint of the
waterproof case.
Use a soft, lint-free piece of cloth or
something similar.
Remove the water droplets from
under the Shutter button, the buckle
and the others.
