Cyclone Vacuum Cleaner Use instructions
Operation
1.Switch on the unit with the On/Off switch (7) (see fig. 4).
2.Adjust the floor attachment to the correct setting for the surface to be cleaned using the adjustment
lever (15) (see fig. 2):
Brush head out for smooth floors.
Brush head in for carpeted floors.
3.Set the vacuum power level using the side vent (16) (see fig. 3):
Vent open: Low vacuum power (curtains, delicate fabrics).
Vent closed: High vacuum power (floor coverings, carpets).
4.Only transport the unit using the carry handle (5).
NOTE: Do not lift by the vacuum hose.
After vacuuming
1.To switch off, use the On/Off switch (7) (see fig. 4).
2.Disconnect the mains plug.
3.To recoil the mains lead, hold the lead and then press the foot-operated button (11). Carefully allow
the lead to slide through your hands as it recoils.
4.To pack away and store, secure the vacuum hose to the unit (see fig. 2).
NOTE: Injury hazard! Recoiling the mains lead too quickly can lead to "whipping" (the lead thrashes
from side to side).
NOTE: Floor brush is ideal for daily cleaning of carpets and floors
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
If the suction pipe or extension tube is blocked, switch OFF the vacuum cleaner at once. Clear the
blockage before starting the appliance again.
1.Before you insert the plug to the outlet make sure your hands are dry.
2.Before you start using the vacuum cleaner, remove large or sharp objects from the floor in order
to prevent damaging the filter.
3.To pull plug from the outlet, hold the plug. Do not pull the plug by the power cord.
Cleaning and care
Emptying the dust canister
1. Pull the plug out of the socket.
2.Press button (4) to remove the dust canister (3) (see fig. 5).
3.Hold dust canister (3) over a dustbin, using button (2) to open it and empty the dust canister.
Cleaning and storage
Cleaning
• Pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning!
• Wipe the casing with a damp cloth and then dry it off thoroughly. No liquid must penetrate the unit.
• Never use aggressive cleaning products or solvents (e.g. petrol, thinners etc.). Such cleaners
damage the surface.
• Never attempt to repair the unit.
