Storage
• Let the appliance cool down completely.
• Wind the cable completely.
• After cleaning, store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
Cleaning the Filters
Cleaning the fine dust filter and the protective motor filter
Clean the filters at least after every second time you vacuum.
See fig. 5, 7 and 8.
Clean the fine dust filter (20) and protective motor filter (21) under running water and allow them to
dry off completely.
Cleaning the exhaust filter
• See fig. 9 and 10.
• Clean the exhaust filter under running water and allow to dry thoroughly (23).
NOTE: Disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet before cleaning the filter.
Changing the filters
Filters have a long life but should be changed annually.
Toubleshooting
Cause
The device does not
work.
The device does not
suck up anything.
Dust escapes from the
appliance during use
The cover will not
close.
Possible cause
The suction power is set too low.
The dust bag is full.
The filters are dirty.
There is a foreign body in the suc-
tion tube or the nozzle
Remedy
Check the connection to the
mains.
Check the position of the switch.
Check the position of the control
switch
Renew the dust bag.
Clean the components.
Check the accessories for foreign
bodies.
Check that the dust bag has been
correctly inserted; if necessary,
correct its
position.
Check that the dust bag is cor-
rectly positioned, making sure
that the dust bag is not
trapped by the cover as it closes
