Mounting the Side Kit
The Side Kit is purchased separately from the cabinet.
It is used to fi nish the sides of a surface mounted or
partially recessed cabinet.
To install the Side Kit:
1. Attach Side Kit to sides of cabinet (top and bottom)
by threading #10 X
½" (12.7 mm) screws from inside
cabinet box into Side Kit as shown in Figure F.

IMPORTANT!
The rough opening
on all four sides and at least 3 ¾" (95.25 mm)
deep for D4 cabinets, 5 ¾" (146.05 mm) for D6
cabinets, and 7 ¾" (196.85 mm) deep for D8
cabinets (when fully recessed).
1. Place the individual or connected boxes (see also
"How to Gang Mount Cabinets" on page 6) into the
rough opening and make sure the bottom is level.
2. Install a #10 X 2" (50.8 mm) or #10 X3" (76.2 mm)
Pan Head (SMS/ Wood Screw) screw through top
mounting hole in cabinet (see Figure C, page 3 for
hole locations) and screw into wall stud as show in
Figure G. Do not overtighten screw.
3. Determine that the cabinet is square and plumb, then
install a #10 X 2" (50.8 mm) or #10 X3" (76.2 mm)

4. Place the grey Screw Head Caps over the screw
heads.
5. If using the "E" option, wire the cabinet by making the
wire connections inside the outlet shelf cover (see
Figure C on page 3 and "Wiring the Electrical Option"
on page 7 for more information).
6. If you are partially recessing the cabinet, install the
Side Kit (see page 5 for instructions).
7. Mount the doors following the instructions supplied
with the hinge and shown in Figure M on page 8.
Open and close the doors to check their operation.
8. If using the "E" option, plug the cord for the "E" option
door into the outlet shelf. Check for proper operation
of electric and the
Maintenance" on page 8 for help.
9. Install shelves as shown in "Final Assembly" on
page 8.
