BREWING COFFEE
18
1. Fill the water tank with cold filtered water for the amount of coffee you want to brew. (fig. 4)
Note: Do not exceed the Max line when brewing into coffee pot. Doing so could cause
coffee pot to overflow.
2. Insert the permanent filter or insert a n°4 filter paper. (fig. 5)
3. Add the desired amount of ground coffee directly into the filter, then close the top cover.

5 fl ounces) of water added. (fig. 6)
4. Place your coffee pot in the center of the heating plate. (fig.7)
5. Select your desired coffee strength (mild, medium, or bold) by pressing the

6. Press "START/STOP" button twice to start immediate brewing. The red indicator light
will light up and coffee will drip out automatically. The warming plate will also turn on
during brewing. (fig.10 and 11)
Note: The cycle can be interrupted at any time by pressing the "START/STOP" button;
the red light will switch off. To resume the cycle, press "START/STOP" button until the
red light illuminates again.
7. When the brew cycle has finished, the unit will beep. Wait a few minutes for the rest of
the coffee to finish dripping into the coffee pot before removing it. (fig.12)
This coffee maker has a drip stop so that you can serve coffee before the end of the cycle.
Once your coffee is served, replace the coffee pot to prevent overflowing.
The coffee maker automatically goes to Keep Warm function after the brew cycle. Default
keep warm time is 2 hours after coffee brewing has finished. After 2 hours, the red indicator
light will go out.
Note: You can end the keep warm time any time by pressing the "START/STOP" button.
Wait a few minutes before making a second pot of coffee.
CAUTION: Make sure the coffee pot is correctly placed on the warming plate with its lid on
before starting the brew cycle. If the coffee pot is not correctly positioned on the warming
plate, hot water or coffee could overflow from the appliance.
