Gear housing
After each 50 hours of operation, check that
there is suffi cient grease in the gear housing!
Remove the lubricating screw (b) on the gear
casing and re� ll with grease using a grease
gun.
Insert and retighten the lubricating screw.
Drill bit
Over time the cutting edge of the drill bit will
become blunt from working soil and stones.
Regularly grind the cutting edges with a � le
or an angle grinder � tted with a suitable
grinding disc.
Cooling � ns
Brush the engine's cooling � ns regularly
using a brush or compressed air.
Storage for longer periods
Empty the fuel tank and start the engine to
remove all the fuel in it.
Remove the spark plug cap (1) from the spark
plug (c) and remove the spark plug when the
engine has run dry and has cooled down.
Pour 3 ml of two-stroke oil into the spark
plug hole and replace the spark plug.
Gently pull the starter handle (5) 2-3 times to
distribute the oil through the engine.
Lubricate all moving parts with lubricating
spray or an acid-free oil and store the
machine in a clean, dry and dust-free
location.
