37 Set the clock to the correct time.
a) Press and release the h button until the correct hour is shown

unplug the coffee maker, to reset the display to 12:00.
39 The clock will retain its settings until the coffee maker is unplugged. It will reset to 12:00 next
time you plug it in.

40 That's it – leave it alone till the preset time comes round, and it makes your coffee – don't
fiddle with it, you might upset it.
41 At the time you set, the coffee maker will start up.

42 If you forget what time you've set it to, pressing the T button will change the display to

44 If you want a quick cup of coffee before the brewing cycle has finished:
45 You can remove the carafe at any time. The non-drip valve will prevent coffee dripping on to
the hotplate..
46 To prevent the filter holder overflowing, replace the carafe on the hotplate within about 20
seconds. This may not sound much, but you'll find it's more than enough time to pour a
couple of cups of coffee.
47 When you replace the carafe on the hotplate, the non-drip valve opens, to let any remaining
coffee through.

48 The hotplate will keep the coffee hot for two hours.
49 During this time, the ] on the display will flash.
50 After two hours, it'll turn all heating off.
51 If left for much more than an hour, chemical changes in the coffee liquor start to affect the
flavour. It's best to pour it away and make a fresh pot.
52 When the carafe is empty, switch the coffee maker off and unplug it from the power socket.
53 Let the appliance cool for about 10 minutes before adding water or re–using, to avoid
spitting.
