1. Unplug cord from outlet.
2. Set the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
3. Wait 5 minutes.
4. Inspect fireplace to ensure vents are not blocked or clogged with dust or lint. If so, proceed
to clean with a vacuum cleaner.
5. With switch turned OFF, plug back into outlet.
6. If the problem persists, contact a professional to inspect the outlet and wiring.

PEOPLE, if you do not carefully follow the procedures detailed below, the equipment may be
damaged and lose your warranty. PLEASE follow the instructions or you will UNNECESSARYLY
expose yourself to the risk of fire, serious injury, illness or death.
CHECK if wiring complies with local building codes and other applicable regulations. If you feel
unfit to carry out this installation, please consult a qualified electrician.
PREPARATION
Remove all contents from the box and place it on a flat, clean, smooth and dry surface. Check
the parts list to make sure nothing is missing. Dispose of the packaging materials properly.
Recycle whenever possible.
To complete this installation, you will need the following tools that are not included with this
product: Phillips screwdriver, power drill, 1/4" wood drill bit, nail finder, level, tape measure,
and hammer.
This product is a wall-mounted, built-in and/or shelf-mounted appliance. Select a suitable
location, not susceptible to moisture and away from high traffic areas.
