- Cleaning the water tank (every three days):
Empty the reservoir and refill it every three days. Before refilling it, clean it with fresh
running water or alternatively, there are cleaning solutions on the market suitable for
humidifiers. To use these types of products, follow the manufacturer's instructions for
use. Take special care to remove scale, deposits and/or films formed on the tank walls
or internal surfaces, and then on all surfaces where any residue may exist.
- Cleaning the hollow in the base (every three days):
If any lime deposits have formed in the hollow in the base, remove them with a soft
cloth dampened with a neutral cleaning agent or vinegar and rinse with water.
In the event of lime being deposited in the area of the transducer, add 200ml of vinegar
to the surface of the transducer and allow this to take effect for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove any encrusted lime from the surface with a brush. Use a clean cloth to properly
dry the transducer. Alternatively, there are several cleaning solutions on the market
for removing lime which are suitable for humidifiers. Always follow the manufacturer's
instructions when using this type of product.
- Cleaning the exterior of the humidifier:
Use a cloth and water no hotter than 40 °C in temperature to clean any marks from the
exterior of the device. The vapour outlet nozzle can be washed by running it directly
under a stream of water.
- Storing the humidifier:
When you are not going to use the device for an extended period of time, completely
empty the water tank. Clean the humidifier, carefully dry it, and package it in its original
packaging.
