Specific additional terms of guarantee applicable to Malaysia
This international limited guarantee is in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under
Malaysian law, which cannot be excluded. Nothing in this international limited guarantee purports
to limit, modify, take away from, disclaim, exclude or suspend any mandatory guarantee requirements
provided or non-excludable statutory rights you may have under the laws of Malaysia.
If your product is defective and can be remedied, you are entitled to have the product repaired
or replaced. Where Louis Vuitton cannot reasonably be expected to repair or replace the defective
product, you are entitled to a refund. If Louis Vuitton refuses or neglects to remedy the failure
of the product or refuses or neglects to do so within a reasonable time you may have the failure
remedied elsewhere and obtain all reasonable costs incurred in having the failure remedied
reimbursed by Louis Vuitton.
Where the defect cannot be remedied or is of a substantial character, you are entitled to either reject
the product and obtain a replacement or reject the product and obtain a refund. In addition,
you may obtain damages for any loss or damage suffered (other than the reduction of the value
of the product) as a result or consequence of the defect.
You may lodge a claim with the Tribunal for Consumer Claims for any loss suffered or any matter
concerning your interests as a consumer under the Malaysian Consumer Protection Act of 1999.
