1. Safety Instructions

The product includes a copy of the type approval, which must be kept
by the driver and presented to authorised persons for examination upon
their request.
Read the following instructions before you use the product and
keep them in a place accessible to all users at all times!
Please observe all text passages that are marked with
this symbol. These are notes that are important for the
operation of the system and for your personal safety.
VDO Pedal Interface must be installed by Continental aut-
horized workshops to ensure correct operation.
Installation by nonqualified personnel can lead to injury
to the driver or third parties, or damage to property or
the environment.
The workshop is instructed, to hand this operating instructions over to
the user and to explain all functions of the product. The operating in-
structions are an integral part of the product!
These operating instructions are intended for the driver, who
• is familiar with the operating instructions in this manual
and has understood the described functions;
• must have a valid driving licence for the vehicle;
• is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs and has not taken
any medicines that could in any way affect his driving ability;
• is not overtired.
Improper handling can lead to injury to the driver or third
parties, or damage to property or the environment.
