Instructions for Use
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance is equipped with a polarized
plug (one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change
the plug in any way.
• Insert the power cord into a 120 volt AC outlet.
• To activate the massage action, press power button once.
• To activate soothing heat with massage, press the heat button.
• Massage heads will glow red.
• Allow a few moments for the heating action to warm up.
• Press "+" & "-" on the control panel to control the intensities of the percussion.
• When finished, press the power button again to turn off the massage and
heat function.
• Unplug the unit.
Getting Started
1. Plug cord into an outlet (120V) near where you will be seated.
2. Press the POWER button once to start percussion massage. The massage
runs on low speed.
3. Press the HEAT button to enjoy a massage with HEAT.
4. Press the "+" and "-" buttons to control the intensities of the percussion.
5. Press the POWER button to turn the massager OFF.
Handle Extension:
For your comfort, you may choose to stretch the handle to reach further during
your massage.
1. First, ensure massager is OFF.
2. Turn to the UNLOCK position to stretch the handle.
3. Turn to the LOCK position to keep in position.

Maintenance
To Store
Place massager in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact with sharp
edges or pointed objects. To avoid breakage, do not wrap the power cord around
the unit. Do not hang the unit by the hand control cord.
To Clean
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Spot clean only with a soft,
slightly damp sponge. Never allow water or any other
liquids to come into contact with the unit.
• Do not immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass / furniture
polish or paint thinner to clean.
• Do not attempt to repair the Deluxe Handheld Massager. There are no user
serviceable parts. For service, send the unit to the The Sharper Image address
listed in the warranty section.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for
a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in
a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions
may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipmen
does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to
correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Note: The manufacturer is not responsible for any radio or TV interference caused
by unauthorized modifications to this equipment.
Such modifications could void the user authority to operate the equipment.
