This magnet can be installed on most LGB-locos. With
it, your locos can trigger 17100 Track Contacts for
automated train operations.
Hints:
• On most locomotives with two gearboxes, mount
the magnet on the fist gearbox.
• The motors of some LGB-locos may trigger 17100
Track Contacts, even without a magnet installed. To
reduce this problem, install a piece of sheet steel
at least 1 mm thick under the gearbox to shield the
motor.
