and intellectual functions. Place the unit in such a way that the mains plug can be
reached at any time. Ensure that the power supply to the unit corresponds to that
specified on the identification plate!
CONNECTING THE UNIT
It is recommended that the battery to be charged is removed from the
vehicle. To locate the battery, check the vehicle's operating instructions or
contact the manufacturer's authorized service center - as a rule, in most
passenger cars, the battery is located under the hood in the engine
compartment. If it cannot be easily removed, remember to temporarily
turn off or disconnect the engine and all current weights in the vehicle,
such as radio, lighting, etc. Do not use any current receivers in the vehicle
during charging, as this may extend the charging time or, in extreme
situations, even make it impossible to charge the battery.
ATTENTION: modern vehicles have all sorts of modules, which are often
activated even when the vehicle is seemingly turned off. When charging
the battery installed in the vehicle, you should avoid e.g. frequently
opening of the door or trunk (and/or leaving them open) or inserting the
key into the ignition, etc.
First, connect the red clamp to the positive (+) pole on the battery or the
derived pole on the vehicle under the engine hood. Then connect the black
clamp to the negative pole (-) or the so-called mass of the vehicle, i.e. a
metal element connected to the body, e.g. a hood lock bolt, or a grounded
element of the engine. After connecting the clamps, the device will
automatically recognize the type of battery and show its current voltage
and the state of its charge ("%" in the shape of a battery).
NOTE: in batteries with side poles (most often American vehicles), use
special adapters or mounting screws to connect the charger clamps.
The display of the device should show the current voltage value of the
battery connected to it. In this state, the charger draws current from the
connected battery.

Working with the device
CHARGING
It is recommended to charge the battery using a current ("A") the value of
which does not exceed 10% of battery capacity ("Ah"), i.e. if the battery has
a capacity of 60 Ah, it is best to charge it with a current of 6 A. The charges
has an intelligent system that protects the battery against overcharging.
