CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER. DO NOT PLACE HANDHELD BURR
COFFEE GRINDER IN THE DISHWASHER!
1. Unplug the Burr Grinder.
2. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any excess ground coffee. Wash in
warm, soapy water, rinse and dry completely.
NOTE: The ground coffee drawer and lid, coffee bean hopper lid are top rack dishwasher-safe.
3. Make sure to clean completely after each use.
4. It is recommended to clean out the coffee bean hopper after every few uses,
so coffee grounds do not build up.
5. Turn the unit upside-down and gently tap the bottom of the unit over a garbage can to remove
any built-up ground coffee. It is recommended to clean out the coffee bean hopper with the
cleaning brush provided, after every few uses, so coffee grounds do not buildup
6. After removing the bean hopper lid, remove the burr blade by unlocking and pulling it straight out.
Make sure to clean this part with the cleaning brush before securing it back into the unit.
7. Ground coffee can also build up in the chute that delivers the grinds to the Removable Ground
Coffee Drawer. To release these grounds, remove the drawer and gently tap
the top of the unit a few times. The build-up should fall out easily. Never stick any objects,

Solution
Grinder overheats. If the motor shuts down, unplug the coffee grinder
and empty the coffee grounds from the ground coffee drawer. Once the
drawer is empty, let the motor rest for approximately 30 minutes. Once
the 30-minute reset is complete, plug the power cord back into the 120V
AC electrical outlet and continue grinding.
When grinding on the fine setting for 12 cups, never grind more than two
times before emptying the ground coffee drawer. At the medium and
coarse grind settings, empty the ground coffee drawer after every 12-cup
coffee grind.
Clean the chute that delivers coffee to the ground coffee drawer often.
Ensure the power plug is correctly inserted into the 120V AC
electrical outlet.
Ensure the hopper lid is placed in the correct position.
Ensure the removable ground coffee drawer with lid is placed correctly on
the base.
