Operating and installation instruction:
General information and installation guidelines must be taken from
the operating and installation instructions delivered with the product
and from the main catalogue.
WARNING - EXPLOSION HAZARDS!
Warning - Do not connect or disconnect equipment unless power has
been removed or the area is known to be non-hazardous.
The device must be installed in a suitable tool-secured enclosure.
Installation in a housing with minimum protection IP54 according to
EN IEC 60079-0.
The enclosure must ensure sufficient light / UV protection for the
internal components.
The timers are maintenance free. Opening of the timers and replace-
ment of components is prohibited!
In case of damage or malfunction, the device must be stopped and
removed from the hazardous area.
Components attached or installed (terminals, bushings, cable entry
fittings, connectors) must be of a technical standard that complies
with the specifications requested in the particular application, and
a separate examination certificate must have been issued for them.
The operating conditions specified in the component certificates
must be followed.
Installation onto a DIN-rail according to EN 60715 with the input
terminals A1 on the top and A2 on the bottom of the device.
