Using your security box
– to open the security box, enter your per-
sonal code and confirm by pressing the
key [*] or [#]. 2 beeps will sound and
the green light (2) will turn on.
– within 5 seconds turn the doorknob (1)
(see ► p. 4, fig. 1) clockwise to open
the door.
Alarm function
Programming of the alarm function
– when the door is opened, press and
hold the button [*], then press the but-
ton [#]. 3 beeps will sound and the red
light (3) will flash 3 times, indicating that
the alarm function is turned on.
Turning off of the alarm function
– when the door is opened, press and
hold the button [*] then press the but-
ton [#] again, 1 beep will sound and the
green light (2) will flash 1 time and the
alarm function turns off.
Alarm warning
1. If the incorrect codes are inputted 3
times, the alarm will be sounded for 2
minutes. If the incorrect codes are
inputted another 2 times, the keypad
will be locked for 3 minutes. During the
period, the red light (3) will keep on
flashing every second.
2. When the security box is meddled with,
the alarm will be sounded for 2 minutes.
During the period, the red light (3) will
keep on flashing every second.
Note: Enter the correct code and confirm by
pressing the key [*] or [#] or use the over-
ride key to open the security box in order to
stop the alarm.
3. If the alarm function is triggered and
neither the override key nor insertion of
the correct code was used to stop the
alarm, subsequent code insertions to
open the security box by keypad will be
accompanied by a flashing red light (3)
warning indicating that the alarm has
been triggered off previously.
To reset the alarm function – 2
steps:
– while the door is still opened, press and
hold the button [*]. Push the button [#]
again. 1 beep will sound and the green
light (2) will flash 1 time and the alarm
function is turned off.
– while the door is still opened, press and
hold the button [*]. Then press the but-
ton [#]. 3 beeps will sound and the red
light (3) will flash 3 times indicating that
the alarm function is turned on.
Re-activating the interior light
To re-activate the light press [#] on the key-
pad, the light will be turned on for another 1
minute. The light is automatically activated
when the security box door is opened with
the electronic keypad. The light can be re-
activated at any time.
Warning for battery replace-
ment
While inputting the correct code and con-
firming by pressing the button [*] or [#]
within 15 seconds, if the batteries are low,
the red light (3) (see ► p. 4, fig. 1) in the
middle of the plate will turn on. The green
light (2) at the bottom only indicates that the
correct code has be inputted.
Low or fully discharged batteries must be
always be replace to avoid oxidation.
Open the security box, remove the battery
cover plate (8) (see ► p. 4, fig. 2) on the
back of the door and replace the 4 old bat-
teries.
Important: You must re-program the code,
using the above steps as in ► Program-
ming the code – p. 47.
