When installing your product, consider these
factors:
•
Electrical: Install electrical wiring
carefully. It should be done by qualified

power the camera. Do not overload the
power cord or adapter.
•
Ventilation: Ensure that the location
planned for the installation of the camera
is well ventilated.
•
Temperature: Do not operate the camera
beyond the specified temperature,
humidity, or power source ratings. The
operating temperature of the indoor

Humidity 95% or less (non-condensing)
for both cameras.

Unpacking
Check the package and contents for visible
damage. If any components are damaged
or missing, do not attempt to use the unit;
contact the supplier immediately. If the unit
is returned, it must be shipped back in its
original packaging.
Installing the camera
See pages 1 to 10.
To prevent injury, the camera must be
securely attached to the ceiling or wall in
accordance with the installation instructions.
The ceiling must be strong enough to be able
to withstand more than eight times the weight
of the camera and its accessories.
Ensure that the power is disconnected before
you wire, install, or disassemble the camera.
Important: When mounting the camera to a
wall, ensure that the 'UP' reference on the
camera base is pointing upwards.
When re-attaching the camera cover ring,
ensure that the opening on the side of the
cover near the cover screw is not up against a
wall or ceiling. You will need to have access to
that area when removing the camera cover.
