OPERATION
Use this appliance to remove hair from the de-
•
sired areas of the body. It is not advisable to
remove hair from the armpits and eyebrows at
home. This treatment should be left to a beau-
tician.
Hot wax hair removal has the advantage of re-
•
ducing the rate of hair growth.
To obtain an excellent result, hair should be
•
at least 2 to 3 millimetres in length and skin
should be clean without cream or talc.
Plug in the appliance.
•
Remove lid and pour the capsules of wax into
•
tub 1 (approx. 200 gr.).
Set the tub's temperature regulator to wax
•
melting mode (Fig. 1).
The light will then come on.
•
The temperature regulator of vat 2 will be in the
•
"Min" setting (Fig. 2).
Stir the wax now and again with the spatula.
•
When it has taken on the consistency of a thick
•
syrup. re-adjust the temperature regulator to
hair removal setting (Fig. 3). The light will go
out.
After a few minutes the light will come on again
•
and the wax should be at a suitable tempera-
ture for hair removal.
Mix the wax to ensure an even temperature
•
throughout.
Using the spatula place a little wax on the back
•
of your hand to test the temperature. If this is
suitable for you. you may begin hair removal.
Thanks to the thermostat, the temperature of
•
the wax will remain constant.
Run your hand along your legs using an up-
•
ward motion to flatten out the hairs.
Using the large spatula, spread out the wax in
•
strips of approximately 6 cm in length and 3
cm in width.
Wax should always be applied in the opposite
•
direction to the growth of the hair.
REMOVING THE WAX
Wait for 30 to 60 seconds until the wax strip
•
becomes dry to the touch.
Hold your skin taut. Grasp the thicker end of
•
the wax, and pull the strip back as quickly as
you can, against the direction the hair grows
(from ankle to knee). Pull the strip back on it-
self, close to the skin rather than away from
it. (Fig. 4)
To soothe the skin immediately after you re-
•
move the strip, press the area with your hand.
Use some used wax or oil to remove wax trac-
•
es. This wax doesn't come out with water, soap
or alcohol. (Fig. 4)
