Introduction
UK
Our thanks for the confidence shown in purchasing this product. Please
read this instruction manual carefully before installing the device, and keep
it handy for future reference: each section will provide all the necessary
information on how to perform the single steps correctly. Any use other
than that described in this manual is considered improper: the manufacturer
acknowledges no liability for damage deriving from improper use and will
not repair or replace parts under guarantee.
Reminders
1. Use only new AA type 1.5V (LR6) alkaline batteries.
2. Replace the batteries at the beginning of each season.
3. Periodically, check the integrity of the seals fitted to the transparent
cover and to the cap of the battery housing.
4. Check periodically that the electrical connections of the battery are
firm and secure.
5. Always keep the cover closed to ensure the product remains watertight.
6. Wash the filter at the start of each season and check regularly.
7. Do not let water freeze inside the product. At the end of each season
we recommend shutting the manual valve upstream and draining the
system by relaying manual opening of the programmable solenoid valve.
8. Make certain that children and animals cannot play with the solenoid
valvevalve or any of its parts.
9. It is good policy — when the solenoid valve is put into operation for
the first time — to make certain that the programmes run correctly.
10. Avoid harsh tugging of hoses and fittings connected to the solenoid
valve.
11. Do not use the solenoid valve with operating pressures less than 0.5
bar (7,3 psi) or over 12 bar (174 psi).
12. Do not use the solenoid valve with chemical/liquid substances other
than water.
