BrieF guide
How can the heating system be operated even more efficiently?
- Use the time programs to reduce room temperatures, for example when you are sleeping or away from home.
- Use the DHW program to provide DHW for air source heat pumps when outside temperatures are high during the day (high SPF of
the heat pump) or when electricity tariffs are more favourable (e.g. self-generated photovoltaic power).
- Use the DHW circulation program to reduce the runtime of the DHW circulation pump to the required times for an existing DHW
circulation line.
- Set the heating curve as low as possible to achieve the lowest possible flow temperature that is still sufficient.
- You can also use our energy management system to improve cost efficiency or to optimise self-generated photovoltaic power.
- Your qualified contractor can advise you on your individual optimisation potential.
What else is important?
Summer/winter changeover
The controller automatically switches to summer mode depending on the outside temperature and building heat buffer. The rooms will
no longer be heated. If your heating system can cool, room cooling will then be enabled.
System pressure
f After installation, check the system pressure regularly on your heating system's pressure gauge.
The system pressure should normally be between 1.5 and 2.0 bar.
If the system pressure is lower, top up with water. Your qualified contractor can explain or carry out the procedure on your system.
Maintenance intervals
f Ask your qualified contractor what maintenance intervals are required for your heating system.
We recommend that you arrange a maintenance contract with us or your qualified contractor. This will ensure the high efficiency of
your heating system on a long-term basis.
Immersion heater
An immersion heater is an integral part of many heat pump systems. In many layouts, the immersion heater can be useful to optimise
your investments and consumption costs.
For some settings, the immersion heater is temporarily switched on to meet the specifications.
When the immersion heater is switched on, the adja-
cent symbol is displayed on the start screen.
Further settings
Additional settings not described here or in the WPM operating instructions require a greater knowledge of heating technology.
f Do not change any further settings if you cannot foresee the effects.
f Contact your qualified contractor if you have any further questions.
Messages
If faults or error messages occur in the heating system, contact your qualified contractor.
