Ensure that the 12-V plug is firmly seat-
ed in the 12-V socket. Otherwise, a
loose contact may switch the device fre-
quently on and off, which may lead to
overheating.
Always connect the 12-V plug to a 12-V
socket, and never to a 24-V socket.
Never use any abrasive, corrosive or
scratching cleaning agents.

5.1
Unpacking
1. Remove all parts from the packaging.
2. Check that all parts are present and in-
tact.
5.2
Fastening the car
heating mat
NOTE: Not always all fastening belts 2/5
must be used. Test the best way to fasten the
car heating mat 3.
1. Unfold the car heating mat 3.
2. Figure A: place the car heating mat 3
on the car seat. The fastening belts 2/5
point backwards.
The car heating mat 3 must never be
pushed under the head rest (Figure B).
Lower fastening belts 5:
3. Figure C: insert the lower fastening
belts 5 through the fastening plates 4
and close the hook-and-loop fasteners,
so that the lower fastening belts 5 ini-
tially remain long.

4. Figure D: insert the two fastening
plates 4 backwards through the car
seat between the back rest and the seat
surface.
5. For a good grip, evenly adjust the
hook-and-loop fasteners of the lower
fastening belts 5.
Upper fastening belts 2:
6. Fasten the upper fastening belts 2 to
the head rest:
- Figure E: open the fastening rings 1
and attach these to the mounting
rods of the head rest (if present).
- Figure F: open one of the fastening
rings 1 and fasten it to the other one.
Place the upper fastening belts 2
around the head rest (if it does not
have mounting rods).
7. For a good grip, evenly adjust the
hook-and-loop fasteners of the upper
fastening belts 2.

Connecting the car
heating mat
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
Always connect the 12-V plug to a 12-V
socket, and never to a 24-V socket.
• Connect the 12-V plug 7 firmly to the
cigarette lighter or another adequate
12-V socket.
• The power indicator 8 is lit as long as
the car heating mat 3 is attached to the
car power supply.
6. Switching the device
on and off
1. Switch on the device by pushing the
on/off switch 6 to I.
2. Switch the device off by pushing the
on/off switch 6 to 0.
