Prior to initial commissioning, attach a sufficiently long
rope to the eyebolts. Use ropes that have sufficient
load-bearing capacity, are resistant to water and UV
radiation. Check the condition of the rope regularly.
. Submersible pumps are used mainly for drying after
floods, moving liquids, drawing water from a well, but
also for closed water circulation for a limited time.
- The pump can be immersed to a maximum depth of
9 m in the liquid.
- Liquid that can be pumped by a submersible pump:
pure water (maximum organic particle size 30mm).
Corrosives, flammable or explosive substances (eg
petrol, diesel, nitroglycerin, ..) must not be pumped or
pumped by this pump.
- The temperature of the pumped liquid should not
exceed 350C.
- The pump is not designed for continuous operation
(eg continuous circulation of the pumped liquid). This
would shorten the life of your pump.
! Before use, check the pump for mud or other debris
- Set the float switch to the liquid level you want to
maintain by attaching the float switch cable to the side
of the handle. The shorter the cable, the sooner the
pump switches off. When you leave the cable com-
pletely free, the pump leaves the lowest water level.
! Make sure the float does not touch the ground. This
will prevent the pump from pumping so-called "dry" if
it does not switch off in time.
! Always monitor the minimum water level.
- If you use a pump in a shaft, it must measure at
least 45x45x50cm. This is because the float switch
must move freely.
- Connect the drain hose to the pump. The connecti-
on can be used with a 3/4 „hose or with a 1", 1-1 / 2
„adapter.
- You can connect other hose diameters (13, 16 and
19 mm) using a quick coupling.
- After depletion of chlorinated water or other liquids
leaving residues, the pump must be flushed with
clean water. Sand and other impurities in the liquid
increase the possibility of overheating and reduce its
suction power.
The pump must be completely submerged before
switching on. Do not switch on the pump dry.
Float switch setting
An automatic float switch is attached to the pump,
which allows the pump to switch off automatically
when the water reaches the selected level.
The float switch automatically starts the pump in 53
cm deep water and switches off automatically when
the water level reaches 5 cm. The float switch can be
set to a certain level at which it is activated by len-
gthening or shortening the free part of the cable with
the float switch.
The motor is protected by a thermal fuse against
overheating. If the motor is to start, the pump swit-
ches off automatically. After cooling down, the pump
switches on again automatically (approx. 19 minutes).
Location and transport
- Make sure that the pump is placed on a solid base
(especially during automatic operation)
- Make sure that the pump is positioned so that the
openings on the suction base are not completely or
partially blocked. Therefore, it is advisable to place
the pump on two bricks.
- Do not use the power supply or float cable to hang
or carry the pump.
- If it is necessary to hang the pump, use a rope
attached to the handle.
