The motor is protected by a thermal fuse against
overheating. If the motor is to start, the pump switch-
es off automatically. After cooling down, the pump
switches on again automatically (approx. 19 minutes).
Location and transport
- Make sure that the pump is placed on a solid base
(especially during automatic operation)
- Make sure that the pump is positioned so that the
openings on the suction base are not completely or
partially blocked. Therefore, it is advisable to place
the pump on two bricks.
- Do not use the power supply or float cable to hang
or carry the pump.
- If it is necessary to hang the pump, use a rope
attached to the handle.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the pump when cleaning, repairing
and maintaining the pump.
Before each use
Check the cover, cable and plug for damage. - Visual
inspection.
Check that the float switch is not damaged.-Lift and
shake the switch to check the free movement of the
contained metal balls.
Cleaning the device from the outside
Rinse with clean water. Remove solid debris with
brush and detergent. Immerse the pump in a tank of
clean water and switch it on for a short time to flush
the inside of the pump.
Suction area cleaning
Clean all accessible internal parts of the cover. Re-
move dirt around the rotor head by opening the pres-
sure connection. Remove solid debris with brush and
detergent.
WARNING! Before using the pump again, let it „soak"
so that any possible residual dirt does not block the
device.
Storage
The device must be stored in a warm place protected
from frost.
WARNING - risk of equipment damage! Frost de-
stroys equipment and accessories because they
always contain water.
Storage when not used for a long time
Do not store the pump in a place where the tempera-
ture is high.
If possible, store the pump in a place with a constant
temperature and humidity.
