Troubleshooting
Cause
The blastwheel is worn or damaged.
Incorrect alignment of the blastwheel and
control cage.
There are loose screws and nuts.
Incorrect tension of the V-belt.
The motor is damaged.
The wheels are damaged.
The supply of abrasive to the blastwheel is
not sufficient.
The type of abrasive is incorrect for the sur-
face.
The abrasive has contamination.
The blastwheel or the control cage is worn or
damaged.
Too much abrasive hits the surface at the
start of the operation.
The drive speed of the product is too high.
3. Turn the bolts (A) to decrease the distance between
the blastmotors and the bearing. The tension of the
V-belts is released.
4. Remove the old V-belts and install the new V-belts.
5. Increase the distance between the blastmotors and
the bearing to apply tension to the V-belts.
6. Make sure that the tension is correct. Refer to
a check of the V-belts tension on page 25 .
7. Attach the V-belt covers.
Solution
Replace the parts that are worn or damaged.
Adjust the alignment of blastwheel and con-
trol cage.
Tighten all screws and nuts.
Do a check of the V-belt tension. Refer to
do a check of the V-belts tension on page 25 .
Replace the motor. Speak to an approved
Husqvarna service agent.
Replace the wheels.
Clean the separator tray and refill the abra-
sive separator with abrasive.
Do a check of the feed spout and the abra-
sive valve.
Replace the abrasive with correct abrasive
for the surface.
Do a check of the dust extractor and dust
extractor hose.
Replace the blastwheel and/or the control
cage.
Close the abrasive valve and stop the prod-
uct. Start the operation again and slowly
open the abrasive valve.
Decrease the drive speed.
