Ingrid
Digital Input Terminal blocks, two 10-way blocks.
Ÿ
The first is made up of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, C, C.
The second is made up of 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, C, C.
Internal voltage between the digital inputs and C terminals (common) is
5Vdc.
Therefore, a voltage-free contact (switch, relay, etc.) must be
connected between them (INxx and C). If any external voltage is
applied, this can damage the board (see wiring diagram available from
Master).
For each input, use 1x0.22 size cable or larger. Maximum distance 500
m.
For each common "C", use a size 1x0.22 cable or larger. Maximum
distance 500 m.
FIRST START-UP
Place the Ingrid board in the junction box. Connect wires as indicated on
the diagrams but with the terminal blocks removed and not powered.
Make sure the digital inputs (on the detached terminal blocks) are not
powered and that there is no voltage over 10V in the RS485 Bus terminal
block (A and B) and that there is no voltage over 18Vdc or ac voltage on
terminals +/-.
Voltages other than those indicated in the manual may damage the board
when the terminal blocks are refitted.
If all steps were completed correctly, refit the terminal blocks. When the
board is powered, the red LED turns on and stays steadily lit while the
green LED will start blinking at 1 second intervals 5 seconds after the
board is switched on.
The Ingrid board is programmed just to work with Vesta via scenarios as it
only has inputs.
