• Cover the dinette and seat cushions with a breathable cloth.
GAS SYSTEM
• Close the main shut-off valve of the gas.
• Close all the gas taps.
• Remove the gas cylinders even if empty.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• Fully charge the service and vehicle batteries.
• Disconnect the battery cut-off switch.
WATER SYSTEM
• Empty the water system completely, including the water pipes.
Leave water taps open. Leave all discharge taps open.
CAUTION
Charge the battery for at least 20 hours before any
period of inactivity.
WINTER INACTIVITY
Additional measures need to be taken during the winter period:
VEHICLE
• Fill the fuel tank with winter diesel to avoid condensation that
can cause corrosion and damage the feeding system.
MOTORHOME
• Leave the forced ventilation open.
• Clean and lubricate all door and cupboard hinges.
• Cover all gaskets with talcum powder or a silicone spray.
LIVING AREA
• Remove the cushions and backrests of the dinette and store
them in a dry place.
• Aerate the interior of the motorhome every 2 to 3 weeks.
• Leave all cupboards and shelves empty. Open cupboard doors
and drawers.
• Carefully clean inside cupboards.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• Remove the vehicle and service batteries and store them in a
place protected from freezing.
WATER SYSTEM
• Clean the water system using the products previously
indicated.
CAUTION
Humidity and lack of air circulation, for example, by
sheets or nylon coverings, can result in condensation
marks and stains on the motorhome surface.
