DIRECT CURRENT MEASUREMENT
1. The red tip in "V mA". The black tip is set to "COM" (for measurements
between 200 mA and 10 A, connect the red tip to the "10 A" tip by
pressing it down fully).
2. The RANGE switch in the desired DCA range.
3. Open the circuit to be measured and connect the test probes IN SERIES
with the load in the current to be measured.
4. Read the current value on the digital display.
5, An additional "10 A" function is designed for intermittent use only. The
maximum contact time with the circuit is 15 seconds with a minimum
intermediate time of seconds between tests.
RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT
1. The red tip in "V mA". The black tip to "COM".
2. The RANGE switch to the desired OHM position.
3. If the resistance to be measured is connected to a circuit, turn off the
power and discharge all capacitors before making the measurement.
4. Connect the test probes to the circuit to be measured.
5. Read the resistance value on the digital display.
DIODE MEASUREMENT
1. The red test probe to "V mA", the black test probe to "COM".
2. The RANGE switch is in position " ".
3. Connect the red test probe to the anode of the diode to be measured
and the black test probe to the cathode.
4. The voltage drop in mV will be shown. If the diode reverses, the number
"1" is displayed.
hFE TRANSISTOR MEASUREMENT
1. Set the RANGE switch to the hFE range.
2. Determine if the transistor is the PNP type of NPN and locate the tips
of the emitter, base, and collector. Insert the tips into the correct holes in
the hFE plug on the adapter.
