safety
G
Don't touch the sharp blades. Keep
the blade unit away from children.
G
Only use the jug with the blade unit
supplied.
G
Never blend very hot liquids - if you
haven't fitted the lid securely and it
comes off, you could get splashed.
G
Always unplug the machine before
putting your hands or utensils in the
jug.
G
Always ensure that the liquidiser and
safety interlock tabs are not
damaged.
important
G
The blade unit is designed so
that it will not fit onto the
mixer outlet unless the jug is
in place. Consequently the jug
cannot be removed whilst the
unit is assembled on the
machine.
G
Never run the liquidiser for longer
than one minute - it will overheat.
Switch off as soon as you have the
right consistency.
English
G
Don't put dry ingredients into the
liquidiser before switching on. Cut
them into cubes and drop them
through the filler cap while the
machine is running.
G
Acrylic jug (A993A): don't process
spices such as cloves, dill and cumin
seeds - they damage the acrylic.
G
Don't use the liquidiser as a storage
container. Keep it empty before and
after use.
G
Never crush ice on its own, always
add a little water.
G
A993A/A994A - never blend more
than 1.2 litres (2 pints 2fl oz).
G
A996A - never blend more than 1.5
litres (2 pints 12fl oz).
to use your liquidiser
1 Ensure the sealing ring

tabs must be free to drop down
when assembling/disassembling.
3 Put your ingredients into the jug.
4 Fit the lid seal inside the lid. Fit the
filler cap.
5 A993A/A994A - screw the lid onto
the jug.
