Malfunctions
IMPULSE does not run
and LEDs does not blink
No lubrication!
Red LEDs blinks 1×
No lubrication!

Possible cause
No battery pack inserted
or battery pack is com-
pletely empty.
simalube lubricator is
empty.
simalube gas generator
was not activated.
A long dispensing time
or low temperature
delays the simalube's
start.
When started: empty
battery pack inserted
or battery pack empty.
During operation: the
battery's charge is too
low/weak.
Working pressure
>10 bar. Problem at
the lubrication point
or in the line
Pump blocked due to
clogged line.
Pump is mechanically
blocked or defective.
When started: Max.
Number of pump strokes
reached.

Measures
Insert new battery pack
(see Section 6)
Replace the lubricator
(see Section 6)
Set gas generator to the
desired dispensing time
(1–12 months).
Set gas generator to a dis-
pensing time of 1 month for
1 day until the device starts
up, then set it to the desired
dispensing time; otherwise
replace the lubricator.
Insert new battery pack
The device still works.
However, more frequent
inspections are recom-
mended.
The device still works, the
pressure is too high, proper
functioning is not ensured.
Check lubrication point.
Remove IMPULSE with the
dispenser screwed on.
Check lubrication point
and purge.
Screw on IMPULSE with
dispenser again.
Replace the device
Replace IMPULSE.
