PERATING THE UNIT

Set the parameter

TENS mode, in user programs (P1, P2), the user can set the pulse

rate, pulse width and treatment time by press ["SET" button (F). The

user LCD will be display the current parameter which you want to

set like following:

EMS mode, in user programs (S, A), the user can set the pulse

rate, pulse width, treatment time, ramp time, working time and rest

time by press "SET" button (F). With programme ‚A' (alternating)

the programme initially proceeds on channel 1 before changing to

channel 2. This changeover takes place during the full duration of

the therapy. With programme 'S' (simultaneous), no changeover

takes place. The programme proceeds on both channels simultane-

ously during the full duration of the therapy. The LCD will be display

the current parameter which you want to set like following:

After the parameter is set, press the "SET" button (F) again to set

next one.

Remark: The set range of pulse rate, pulse width, treatment time,

ramp time, working time and rest time in user program, please refer

to section programs (page 13-14).

Restore to factory preset:

IF you want to restore the user programs to factory reset, you can

achieve by press the "

" (G) button and turn the device on at the

off state mode.

Adjust the intensity and Start to treatment:

There are two intensity adjustment knobs (C) for each channel on the

side of the unit. By turning the controls up, the output intensity will

be increased, when the output intensity above 1mA, the device will

be started to work. The maximum output intensity is 100mA.

Remark:

The Promed EMT-6 has special backlight function:

a) In the normal state the backlight is green;

b) If the output intensity is over 65mA, the backlight will be changed

blue and the user should be taken care.

c) If the electrode pad connection in wrong way or not connect the

electrodes, when the output intensity over 10mA, the backlight

will change to red and ﬂash, and the intensity will be reseted

automatically.
