Solution
Check mains lead, control equipment and motor. Use
-
only slow-blow fuses designed for motors.
-Check that the thermal-relay for the motor is correctly
set, check the electrical connections.
-Check the electrical cables and the current supply. Have
the motor winding renewed.
-Dismantle the cylinder head and check.
Check network, ensure that the cross-section of the
-
conductors is sufficient.
-Check all switches and fuses, and change where
necessary.
-Check the electrical system, fuses and look for the source
of the fault.
-Clean the fan(s) grid and check that the motor fan(s) is
(are) not too close to a wall or partition.
-Choose a more appropriate location and provide better
ventilation.
-Change the position of the machines.
Correct the setting.
-
-Restore normal current and voltage.
-Check the fuses.
-Reduce the working pressure. If necessary, clean the
filters, silencers and connecting conduits.
Block the leaks.
-
-Check the rotation
-Replace it
-Replace it
-Replace it.
-Replace it.
Clean and if necessary replace the silencer.
-
-Replace it.
-Replace the bearing.
5. DISMANTLING THE PISTON KIT
Dismantling:
Unscrew the four screws on the suction/exhaust case and remove it.
Remove the valve plate [16] : carefully note the position of the suction and exhaust valves.
Remove the piston casing [11]
Remove the ventilation grid [1]. Use a screwdriver as a lever to remove the fan [2]
Lift the piston to remove it.
Re-assembly:
Slide the piston kit [4] on the drive wheel [3] then position it on the motor shaft.
Replace the casing [11] (bevelled section facing downwards).
Position the valve plate [16] checking that the upper valve slots into the exhaust part of the
compression head.
Replace the compression head using the four screws. Ensure that the piston moves smoothly.
