The installation must be performed only by trained or skilled operators.
Take the compressor out of its package and check that no damages occurred during
transport; then assemble the provided silent-feet (when required) (fig.1).
Install the compressor in a suitably sized room, well ventilated and not wet (relative hu-
midity less than 75%), where the temperature is between +5°C and +40°C.
Place the compressor on a flat surface, able to support this device weight.
When this compressor is not placed on a floor, be sure that the frame supporting the
compressor is properly sized to carry on the compressor weight and is steady to the di-
namic stresses caused by its running.
In case of poor ventilation, install a suitably sized exhauster or fan.
Avoid to place the compressor close to walls or furnitures; leave a free space of almost
50 cm around the unit in order to ensure an adequate ventilation.
Check that the compressor is correctly sized to meet the air demand of the
device to which it is connected to. If the air demand exceeds the compres-
sor capability, the compressor is forced to run continuously and the max
pressure is not likely to be reached.
