NOTE: If the unit will be mounted into stud behind drywall, drywall screws are
required (not included). If intended to be mounted on concrete, you will need
to purchase concrete screws, or if intended to be mounted on wood, you will
need to purchase wood screws from your local hardware store.
WARNING: If screwing into a wood framing member, a screw should be used
and have a length that allows the screw to penetrate into the framing
member a minimum of 1.5 inches (or whatever penetration is needed
to mount securely).
WARNING: If unable to screw directly into a wood framing member, an anchor
should be selected which is rated for use in the wall material and
which meets the weight requirements of this heater. This heater
weighs 4.85 pounds.
WARNING: Do not use on vinyl siding.
INSTALLATION
1. To ensure safe installation, the heater should
be positioned a minimum of 6 feet from the
ground and a minimum of 1.65 feet from the
ceiling and sides. Heater should only be mounted
on a wall and only in a horizontal position.
2. Make three 8 mm holes in installation
location.
