COMPATIBILITY WITH PLAYBACK
DEVICES
The beyerdynamic SPACE MAX Speakerphone is compat-
ible with Bluetooth® playback devices that support the
following profiles:
• A2DP (for audio transmission)
• HFP (for phone operation)
All associated functions are only available if they are
supported by the playback device.
SUPPORTED AUDIO CODECS
The beyerdynamic SPACE MAX Speakerphone supports
the audio codec SBC.
Please note that only the Codecs available in the play-
back device can be used for audio transmission.
The playback device and the beyerdynamic SPACE MAX
Speakerphone device automatically select the best
mutually available Codec: In this case SBC.
OPERATION
Switching on and off
To switch on:
► Press the on/off button for 1 to 3 sec.
To switch off:
► Press the on/off button again for 1 to 3 sec.
Activating and deactivating the
Bluetooth® function
Activate:

Pairing with a device via Bluetooth®
Before you can use the beyerdynamic SPACE MAX
Speakerphone, you must pair it with your mobile phone
or another Bluetooth®-enabled device. The connection
process may differ depending on the device.
► Please refer to the relevant operating instructions of
the device with which you wish to pair the Speaker-
phone.

To establish a connection:

Android devices from Android 6.0+ enable a fast connec-
tion via Google Fast Pair.
1 . Start the connection to your beyerdynamic SPACE MAX
Speakerphone as described above.

on the connected device.
2 . Select "beyerdynamic SPACE MAX Speakerphone".
The two devices are connected.
If the Bluetooth® connection has been lost, the LED briefly
flashes blue every 2.5 sec.
Deleting the list of already connected devices:
► Press the

Bluetooth® connection with a USB
Bluetooth® adapter
A USB Bluetooth® adapter is required to enable a wire-
less Bluetooth® connection to a laptop or desktop PC
while ensuring compatibility and synchronisation of the
corresponding commands from related communication
platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom. The standard

Bluetooth® protocols of laptops and desktop PCs do not
support these commands.
The USB WL Adapter (available as an option) has a
pairing button to allow it to be connected to a beyer-
dynamic SPACE MAX Speakerphone. It can be stored on
the underside of the beyerdynamic SPACE MAX Speaker-
phone.
For more information, please refer to the operating
instructions of your USB Bluetooth® adapter.
