Address selector switch
Position 0: Module switched off.
Warning: The power consumption is unchanged. Addresses 1 to 8 selected
(see instructions for PC software). Addresses 9-F not available.
green LED
switch
Function: Operating indicator.
LED alight when the module is integrated in the system, has a valid
"OK"
initialisation. During emergency power back-up operations (failure of 230 V
supply) LED indicator blinks in 2 second intervals.
yellow LED
Function: Fault / caution.
LED alight when the module is not initialised, or the processor is not working.
Malfunctions can be identified by the LED's flashing frequency (also see table:
Flashing Codes LM3G)
DIP-Switch bar
The configuration of some module functions can be set independently from
the MZ2 configuration software using the DIP-Switches.
DIP-Switch:
1 automatic ventilation A
2 vent switch A / key operated switch
3 vent switch A dead man function*
4 automatic ventilation B
5 vent switch B/ key operated switch
6 vent switch B dead man function*
7 automatic ventilation C
8 vent switch C / key operated switch
9 vent switch C dead man function*
10 free
* no self-initiated stopping, see page 15.
The module provides the following functions that are individually configured
using the MZ2 configuration software and the DIP-Switch bar and controlled
by the MCU module. The faults recognised in the self-test and in operation
are signalled via the LED
Self test functions
The module has self-test functions:
- Monitoring of the own supply voltage
- Validity of initialisation data (is regularly checked by the MCU)
- Status check (the status is checked regularly by the MCU module).
Ventilation switch functions
Up to 3 x 10 ventilation switches can be connected to the module. To indicate
the status "OPEN", 24 V; 50 mA are provided by clamps 4, 8 and 12. The
ventilation switches are interrogated continuously. Designation of actor output
and type of function in case of vent switch activation depends on allocation
template of MCU (see also: Description MCU Module, PC Configuration
Software). In addition, three special functions are available for each
ventilation switch input through the DIP-Switch setting (see "special
functions"). "OPEN", "CLOSE" and "STOP" are recognized as inputs. "STOP"
is recognized when the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" switches are pushed
simultaneously. All ventilation functions are terminated once the installation
enters the "ACTIVATE" operations modus.
