SHAFT ASSEMBLY
1.
Set the unit on a flat, level surface.
2.
Loosen the attachment knob (1) on the
coupler (5).
3.
Push in the release button (2) located
on the attachment shaft (3). Align the
release button with the positioning hole
(4) and slide the two shafts together.
Rotate the attachment shaft until the
button locks into the positioning hole.

NOTE: If the button does not release
completely in the positioning hole, the shafts
are not locked into place. Slightly rotate from
side to side until the button is locked into
place

Tighten the attachment knob securely.

AUXILIARY HANDLE ASSEMBLY
1.
Remove the battery pack from the
trimmer.
2.
Loosen the screws (1) in the handle with
a philips screwdriver (not included) and
remove the screws from the handle.
3.
Attach the auxiliary handle (2) and lower
clamp (3) on the shaft.
4.
Tighten the screws so that the handle
cannot be rotated on the shaft.
WARNING
the auxiliary handle for optimum control and
balance. Do not overreach when operating
the string trimmer. Keep proper balance
at all times for better control of the tool in
unexpected situations.
CUTTING LINE
A pre-wound spool is pre-installed on the
string trimmer. When the cutting line needs to
be replaced, insert new line.
