3. Quite la cubierta del puerto de acceso.
4. Con un destornillador Philips, quite los
dos (2) tornillos que sostienen el
conector de la manguera. (Fig. 26)

5. Quite el conector de la manguera y
verifique que no haya ninguna
obstrucción en el mismo. (Fig. 27)

6. Limpie toda obstrucción en la entrada
de aire. Nunca introduzca objetos
filosos dentro de la abertura para
limpiarla.
7. Vuelva a colocar el conector de la
manguera en la unidad y atorníllelo en
su lugar utilizando el destornillador
Philips.
8. Vuelva a colocar la cubierta del puerto
de acceso y atorníllela en su lugar.
9. Enchufe la unidad y continúe
aspirando.
Déblocage de l'Entrée d'Air
Derrière la Barre de Brosse
Il y a une entrée d'air derrière la barre de
brosse, sous l'appareil. Il peut s'y
accumuler des débris qui réduisent la
puissance d'aspiration. Pour débloquer
cette entrée:
1. Débranchez l'appareil et mettez
l'aspirateur sur le côté.
2. Vérifiez s'il y a un bouchon derrière la
barre de brosse. (Fig. 28)

3. Procédez au déblocage par cette
entrée. N'insérez jamais d'objet
pointu dans l'ouverture.
4. Branchez l'appareil et passez
l'aspirateur.
Déblocage de la Poignée du Tuyau
Si le pouvoir aspirant est toujours
diminué, vérifiez que la poignée n'est pas
obstruée.
1. Débranchez l'appareil et retirez la
poignée du tuyau pour vérifier si elle
est obstruée.

2. Débloquez l'ouverture de la poignée
du tuyau. (Fig. 29) N'insérez jamais
d'objet pointu dans l'ouverture.
3. Vérifiez si le tube de rallonge est
débloqué en le mettant sous la
lumière et en repérant tout débris
pouvant l'obstruer.
4. Branchez l'appareil et passez
l'aspirateur.

make sure that the hose
is inserted into the hose
holder that is located at
the bottom of the unit,
just behind the dust
cup container.
(Fig. 9) This will
keep your vacuum
from tipping over.
Using the Pet Hair Power Brush
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of
electric shock, the power cord must
be disconnected before removing the
dust cup, HEPA filter,changing the filters
or performing maintenance/trouble
shooting checks.
1. Remove the hand grip
from the unit and push
in the pet hair power
brush. (Fig. 10)
This can also be
used on the
Pet Hair
Power
telescopic
Brush
tube as with the
other accessories.
2. To remove the
pet hair power brush
from the hand grip,
pull and twist.

The efficiency of your pet hair power
brush depends on the bristle brush
rotating at high speed. Strong air suction
is needed to accomplish this. In order to
ensure that maximum air suction is
maintained, please read the following
instructions:
1. Empty the Dust Cup frequently during
use.
2. Always "TapClean" the HEPA dust
cup filter each time the dust cup is
emptied.
3. Ensure that the rotating bristle brush
is kept free of hair and string.
4. Inspect the turbine regularly to ensure
that the air passage is free of dirt and
debris.

1. Slide locking latch forward then tilt the
top housing of the brush upwards.
The top housing is hinged and will tilt
up approximately 45° only. (Fig. 11)
2. Inspect turbine wheel and air passage
for debris and/or blockage. Remove
debris if present.
3. Inspect the rotating brush for built-up
hair or string. If present, remove by
carefully cutting with scissors. Avoid
damaging or cutting the bristles.
4. Once clean, close the top cover of the
brush and slide the locking latch
toward the rear of the brush to lock.
How to Adjust for Carpet Height
WARNING:
To avoid injury, keep
loose clothing, hair, fingers and all
other parts of body away from any
moving part (such as the beater brush).
Turn off the switch and unplug the
vacuum before adjusting the vacuum for
the carpet height.
The front of the vacuum cleaner has a
carpet adjustment knob that raises and
lowers the motorized power head to
match the type of carpet. With the
vacuum NOT connected to the electrical
outlet, set the adjustment to the lowest
setting for maximum cleaning. If the
vacuum is too difficult to push, move the
knob to the next highest setting until the
vacuum is comfortable to push. The
beater brush must reach the carpet for
effective cleaning.
