ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS.-
Take the unit out of its box and make sure that all
of the pieces are there, Fig.1:
(61) Main post with handlebar and monitor; (1)
Main body; (39) Front trim cover; (41) Top trim
cover; (95) Backrest; (124) Flat washer M-10;
(117) Grower washer M-10; (123) Allen screw M-
10x25; (151) Screw M-4x15; (52) Allen screw M-
5x15; (62) Screw M-5x6; (121) Screw M-8x15: (11)
Grower washer M-8; (122) Flat washer M-8; (103)
Combination spanner; (89) Star driver spanner;
(132) Allen key 5mm; (134) Allen key 8mm; (154)

1.
ATTACHING THE MONITOR.-
Release screws (62), Fig.2, at the back of the
monitor.
Bring the monitor (H) to the handlebar stem (61)
Fig.2, connect the terminal (166-167) coming out of
the handlebar stem (61) and the monitor (H16-
H17), Fig.2.
Take hold of the Hand-grip connector (164),
sticking out of the main post 31, and plug it into (n),
located at the back of the monitor (H), as shown in
Fig.2.
Insert the monitor (H) onto the handlebar stem
(61), as shown in Fig.2, making sure not to pinch
any of the cables. Next, slide the front of the
monitor onto the plate on top of the main post (61)
in the direction of the arrow, Fig.2, push the cables
down into the main post making sure not the pinch
any of the cables.
Replace the screws (62) removed previously.
2.
FITTING THE MAIN POST.-
Take hold of the post (61) and bring it up to the
boss on the main body (1), connect the terminals
(O), sticking out of the bottom of the post, with
terminal (P) coming up out of the top of the tube on
the main body (1), Fig.3, In a similar fashion
connect terminal (R) coming out of the bottom of
the focus bar to terminal (S) coming out of the tube
on the main body (1) Fig.3 now slip the main post
over the boss on the main body in the direction of
the arrow, making sure not to snag any of the
cables.
Check that the cables are connected correctly by
spinning the dynamo until the monitor starts to
operate.
Once you have checked that it works, insert
screws (123) along with their flat washers (124)
and Grower washer (117) Fig.3.
Line the main post up with the main body and
tighten the screws securely.
Next, take the backrest (95) and insert it into the
tube on the seat, Fig.3, in the direction of the
arrow.
Fit the screws (121), along with the spring washers
(11) and the flat washers (122).
3.
FITTING THE FRONT TRIM COVER.-
Fit the trim cover (39) by sliding it onto the side
tubes, see Fig.4. Next, take screw (151) and
secure the cover by tightening the screw.
4.
FITTING THE TOP TRIM COVER.-
Position the cover on the side tubes on the main
body (1), in the direction of arrow, Fig.5, sliding the
cover forward in the direction of arrow, Fig.5,
inserting it into the pivots on the main body (1).
Next position it onto the aluminium section and
secure it using screws (52).
Next, remove the screws (155) from the main post
(1), Fig.5A, position the bottle holder and secure it
by using the screws removed previously.
5.
ADJUSTING THE SEAT.-
The seat can be adjusted by pressing lever (84)
Fig.6, upward, this is on the lower right-hand side
of the seat, and, without releasing it, sliding the
seat backwards or forwards to suit your seating
position.
Once the seat is in a position that suits you,
release the lever (84) and the seat will be locked
into this position.
6.
LEVELLING.-
Once the unit has been placed into its final position
for doing exercise, make sure that it sits flat on the
floor and that it is level. This can be achieved by
screwing the adjustable support blocks (113) up or
down, as shown in Fig.7.
7.
MOVEMENT & STORAGE.-
The appliance is equipped with wheels (119)
making it easier to move about. The two wheels at
the front of the appliance make it easy to store the
machine away, as shown in Fig.8.
8.
PULSE MEASUREMENT.-
Your pulse rate is measured by placing both hands
on pulse sensors (145) located on the seat
handgrips or the handlebar, see Fig.9.
NOTE:
You can also use the chest band (OPTIONAL
TELEMETRIC PULSE SENSOR) to measure your
heart rate.
The reading from the telemetric pulse rate takes
preference over the pulse sensors (145) located on
the seat handgrips or handlebar.
