When mounting on SX-F models of MY 2013 and later, the right filter box
panel (772.06.004.000/04/28/30 or 772.06.004.100/04/28/30) and the
filter box cover (772.06.003.000/04/28/30) are needed in addition
Preparations
- Remove the original fuel tank (see the Owner's Manual).
Assembly (fuel tank 7810791354499 only)
- Remove the EFI pump (1) from the original fuel tank. For this purpose,
remove the fuel line, open the fittings (2) to (4) (Figure A) and pull the
pump out of the fuel tank.
- Insert the EFI pump into the new fuel tank.
- Mount the original mounting nut (2) and original fuel connection (3).
Mounting nut (2) M12 (15Nm)
Fuel connection M8 (3) (10Nm)
- Mount the EFI pump (1) onto the new fuel tank using the original EJOT
PT screws (2.5Nm).
NOTE
When the pump is mounted, the plug connection (5) must face up (Figure B).
- Remove the original hose coupling.
- Mount the hose coupling with the hose clamps (included) and the preformed
fuel hose (included) on the fuel tank (included) (see Figure C).
- Adjust the length of the preformed fuel hose if necessary.
Assembly (fuel tank 5510791354499 only)
- Remove the original fuel tap from the original fuel tank.
- Mount the fuel tap with the hose clamps (included) and the preformed fuel
hose (included) onto the new fuel tank (included).
- Adjust the length of the preformed fuel hose if necessary.
Assembly, all fuel tanks
- Position the fuel tank on the vehicle.
- Tighten the screw (6) (original part).
