14.2 Preparing for use
1. Let hot ingredients cool down before you chop them, before you process them (max.
temperature 80°C).
2. Cut large ingredients into pieces of approx. About 2 cm.
3. Assemble the appliance properly before you put the plug in the wall socket.

Functions:
• blending liquids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and
shakes.
• mixing soft ingredients, e.g. pancake batter or mayonnaise.
• pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making baby food.
Assembly and use:
1. Put the ingredients in a jar.
2. Select the desired blade:
Use the multi-purpose blade for chopping and pureeing food.
Use the whirling disc for the mixing / whisking of foods.
Use the meat knife for the chopping of meat.
3. Secure the selected blade.
4. Put the plug in the wall socket.
5. Immerse the blender in the ingredients (with maximum depth of 30 cm).
6. Press the on/off switch on the top of the appliance.
7. Move the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to process the foods until the
desired level of consistency is reached.
15 Cleaning and Maintenance
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to cleaning and maintaining
the device. Please observe the notices to prevent damages due to cleaning the device
incorrectly and to ensure trouble-free operation.
Turn the appliance so that the blades face
upwards. Lift the blades off upwards with the
stainless steel fork as shown in the photo.
Attach the desired blade and push it down with the
fork until it clicks into place
